Wondering if anyone else experienced this with the latest update.

Woke up this morning to find my phone stuck on the BlackBerry symbol.

Had to hold the power button down to restart the phone.

After doing so, I found all my text messages gone.

Anyone know why this is?

What app are you using for text messages? The built-in one or something else? If the built-in one, download Textra and install it and see if your old ones come back.

Quick question. Do you remove and disable the original message app?

I was going to disable and it says it will delete all messages so I didn't do it. Just removed it from my home screen.

Is it safe to disable the app?
