Yesterday I put a glass of water next my KeyOne. Unfortunately I didn't notice that the glass was cracked near the bottom, so by the time I woke up in the morning the phone was 'swimming'.

I took the back off, sim tray out, disconnected the battery, and dried the visible parts I could reach.

Later I tried to turn it on. It went to a bootmenu with 4 options:

    1. Barcodes
    2. Continue the bootup
    3. Reboot into fastboot
    4. Turn off the device

** Hold power button for 10+ seconds to force reset **

It says, that I could select the options with the volume keys.
    But I can't. It just doesn't move.

Once I left it like that for a couple of minutes, and when I got back I could select with the volume keys. I booted up the phone, it went into safe mode. I thought okay, that will work from now on and turned off and left it there for a couple of hours to dry more.

Then I tried booting it again and it still goes into Boot mode with unmovable volume keys.

Is it possible that there are still some water around the volume keys?
Should I leave it open for the night and try it tomorrow?

btw force reset wipes the device? (what the boot screen says, 10+ seconds power button)

You may have rushed it before it was thoroughly dry which could fry some circuits. Give it more time - white rice or commercial desiccant from hardware store.

    Good luck.
