    I mean, that's basically it. It's April 04th and my "Android Security Patch Level" is "5 February 2018".

    The "Updates" app says there's no new updates and I'm on AAV119.

    It's an unlocked phone, and previously got updates basically as soon as they were available.

    Wondering what's up.

    Seems to be an issue in the UK again - for both KEYᵒⁿᵉ and Motion.

    Most everyone else has March.

    Ya my son has a North American unlocked Motion and obviously it's updated, both my wife and I on UK versions and nothing at this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I still believe there is some external force at work with regard to the UK. This happens too often to be a glitch or an oversight on the part of TCL.

    Worst part is I'm in Canada, I just managed to get this specific model on ebay... Even the carrier locked Canadian models have gotten the update by now.

    Meh...whats a few weeks as long as they update, but as usual I agree with Conite, there is something else that must be going on that only the UK variants are seeing so update times

    I've prodded Blackberry support repeatedly and ended up with this, which makes sense, but is very annoying for anyone who buys an unlocked phone in the UK!

    "Hi Sarah,


    It is still not available for your model or region & this is down to the network carriers (even though you are not tied into a network) the patch is not available for the region until EE, Vodaphone & O2 accept & rollout the patches OTA, until they do you will also not be able to update to the latest patch level.

    So the latest for your model is the AAV119

    I don't know if I'm getting it... So a factory unlocked BBB100-2 in Spain need to wait for UK carriers to approve an upgrade?

    It's specifically related to the UK variants which seem to have to wait longer when everyone else has the update.

    As speculated, the UK carriers have regional control over when the updates get deployed (in the UK).

    I have a UK BBB100-2 qwerty but using in France with French carrier. Am I still affected by UK delays?

    Talk to Vodafone - they hold the strings in the UK whether you are locked to them or not.

    Lol, didn't you once say that customer service representatives don't know the deal at all? I thought that's what you said to the theory of server problems, which was reported via the official BlackBerry Mobile customer service. Or am I mistaken and was it someone else?

    I do find it weird that they don't correct for production models that are used outside of their region, usually that isn't a problem for factory-unlocked phones.
