PS: What was the original value .. if needed ... 430 ?
    411. Always take a screenshot of that stuff "just in case". Lol (from bad experiences)

Settings > About phone, then keep tapping the build number until the "You are now a developer!" message pops up. Then go back to the main settings screen and Developer options should be at the bottom.
This reply made up my day, thanksssssssss.

Since doing this, I have not received the July security update on the KEYone (unlocked from Amazon), and there is no way to manually check if the update is available for download since enabling the "you are now a developer" option. Even after I turn the developer mode toggle back off, when I tap the build number a pop-up window says "no need, you are already a developer". Am I now screwed to not get future security updates? Help!

Wouldn't of thought so as I've been getting the updates. Had July's update end of last week.

No, you're fine. Updates are checked and downloaded from the "Updates" app. Check your app drawer. Has nothing to do with Developer Options.

FYI, I haven't received the July yet either. It's rolling out slowly across the globe. I'm hoping it'll be here within a week.

First thing I do on any Android device.

Second is to clear cached data and reboot when it gets above 1GB.
    How-to would be appreciated.

Activate developer options, and then change the 3 animation speeds to .5x from 1x.
