Now I'm back on the Keyone I've now noticed that the space bar is sticking and I have to press it twice to leave a space. Restarting corrected it, but now it's back.
Coincidentally, it happened once on the LE recently.
anyone else?

I had this issue twice with my keyone... After a few days it works again...
Same here.
just type more. this is a physical issue, restart can't fix it.
this happened to me with keyone and both key2's, i contribute it to some humidity and/or dust getting under the space key a.k.a. fingerprint sensor
look carefully underneath, some junk mail have gotten into there.
You’re holding it wrong.. ;-)
Face magnetic North, hold in left hand and with right hand wiggle your left ear lobe. Continue until problem corrects itself.
Should be done in main lobby with friends and relatives clapping for support...
Don't forget to also drink beer while doing the above.
My BE KeyOne has a similar space bar issue. I wouldn't call it "sticking". A typical press won't always register. Pressing on the left side of the space has less success than pressing on the right side. If I am firm when pressing the space anywhere, it always works. I tried using a duster (compressed air) can to clean out possible debris, but the problem is still there.
Is this the KeyOne Black Edition? Or the Silver?
I was thinking this issue only occurred on the Key2.
Not working

Same issue the last few weeks with my K1, first generation, tried compressed air etc, very annoying at times.
I fixed the spacebar sticking issue!!!!
I sold the phone.
(Selling the phone was the fix)
I think it isn't a joke when it must be explained
I had had my KEYone for nearly 2 years when the screen came loose. BlackBerry Mobile repaired it, no questions asked. When I got it back the spacebar seemed a little wobbly. However, after a couple of weeks this went away and it feels as stable as it did before. I wondered if during the repair something happened that made it come out of position, and then worked its way back into place with use.
get ahold'a some original Radio Shack Tuner Cleaner... it's PURE PCB... does wonders for electronics (not to mention the atmosphere) but do avoid huffing it...
Victoria from Mexico or even Chimay from Belgium, Canadian and American won't work...
Wrong beer…
I'm starting to think it might be software. I have this issue as well. Sometimes, when my space bar sticks, and I press it again, I end up with TWO spaces.
I think so too. I've been having this spacebar issue on my BE KeyOne regularly (every day) for maybe week now. Sometimes I even stop dead in my tracks and press harder than normal and it still won't register.
just today, I hit the space bar once, then a second time and the cursor literally added a space, backspaced itself out, added a space again, backspaced itself out, andaddeda space.
for people who claim that pub > vkb, this is slowing down my typing to the point that I'm considering retiring my K1. the way things are going with BBMo, I'm starting to consider jumping ship for good.
