So since the update I have a big problem with the speaker during phone calls.
I can't hear my phone calls unless I put my phone on speaker, but everyone can hear me fine.
Ive already done a factory reset and cleaned the Speakers and headphone jack without any success.

I am not 100% sure if the update created the problem but a hardware issue would be wierd since I havent dropped the phone in that period.

Does anyone else have any similiar problems?

I've had this issue for awhile now. Certainly had it before the Oreo update. The sound quality on voice calls is subpar for the most part. I'm forced to use the speakerphone.

I also have the same problem started about 10 days ago, when I first noticed it. I usually use my speakerphone for making and receiving calls as a convenience to me. This time I wanted some privacy as waiting in line to board a flight, I thought I had changed some setting on the phone which has caused this problem.

Good to know it's not me, but how do I fix it.

I had exactly the same problem. and I'm almost certain that this problem was happened due to the Android update (Oreo, built in ABG366). I don't know how can we fix it, maybe finding a more recent Autoloader, or waiting for a new update to come ...?

I have the same problem. Handsfree speaker and bluetooth headset work well.

Call up BBMo and see about getting it repaired/replaced. Since you've already done the factory reset, our powers here have been exhausted. It's likely a hardware issue.

Update: It works again but unfortunatly I have no idea why. My advice would be to wait a few days before you try to get it repaired/replaced.

Confirmed on BB Motion too.

I have a 12 Km trip to go to work from home.

The call along this path have ALWAYS been perfect.

After Oreo update , now there are mutes and BLIPs and noises

Too much scrapness after Oreo update, check my posts.
I gonna ask how to downgrade to android 7 and I hope is possible...

TCL should be more precise with android updates

Same issue here. Noticed the call volume issue on the same firmware. this forward just arrived today but it's been an issue for a few weeks. I thought it was just my old age !!! it's certainly Oreo as I was on the beta programme. any advice on solving this would be helpful

It's not an isolated issue. I suffer the same problem on my Motion. I never any trouble with call volumes on my Z30.

I couldn't get any sound notification during calls or anything else. This issue started with oreo update.
I need to restart whenever I address this issue.
Oreo update really a downfall.

Mine seems to be lower as well. Some weirdness since "upgrade" as well. Man, I want to go back two updates ago.
