Will the KEYone (India Version) be upgraded to the new Android?
Which 'new Android' are you referring to?
I assume you are referring to BBB100-7 PRD-63764-001 ?
Currently it's on the Feb patch, build ABP819.

Albeit ABP819 is on your list and TCL's as current, I don't believe it was ever released OTA. I'm still running the January 5th patch of ABP244.
Android 9.0
Optiemus made no commitments to any updates.
Outside of India, BBMo committed to one major upgrade - and the KEYᵒⁿᵉ already got it with Oreo.
Bro yet to receive Feb patch in India.. Still standing with Jan update :(
Use the Mobile Upgrade Tool if you want to force the Feb update and don't mind wiping your device.
India KEYone
BBB100-7 running 8.1.0 (Oreo) and the 5th January 2019 Patch ABP244
No updates since then, i.e. for almost 3 months now!
See the post right above yours.
It does seem that Optiemus is dropping the ball. It's too bad.
Saw it @conite but don't see any reason to wipe the device.
Optiemus needs to show a tad more interest, given that we [die-hard BB fans] really took the leap of faith, away from BB10 to Android -- on a BlackBerry phone! Morte of this nonsense and one should actually chuck BB completely... bring an end to this never-ending game of compromises!
That's between you and Optiemus.
In the meantime, BBMo is keeping over 95% of its devices within 60 days, and 65% of its devices within 30days for new patches.
Between me (us) and Optiemus.
We are attached to the 'Brand' and that "Brand' is Canadian. Optiemus is a licensee, so don't you think, BB in Canada is also responsible for delivery to an extent?
We spend bigger money on a brand for a reason ... we expect better after sales service, regularly and for the full life-cycle of the product.
Optiemus essentially owns that brand in India. They are solely and 100% responsible for it there.
BlackBerry in Canada only sells software to paying customers (licencees).
my phone has stil January 's patch :(
If you’re Canadian, buying a device not intended for you and your location, you’re not really entitled to anything, caveat empor... I believe is the phrase...
Not Canadian!
Am a German living in India with an optiemus BlackBerry KEYone that got no updates since January.
If phones aren't even supported for 2 years, we must all shout out loud and get heard. It's also not as though BB or its partners are inventing 5 new high end phones a year!!
The point is this:
Using a name must stand for something. BB in Canada should keep a tab on this... so what if they aren't in the hardware business anymore!!
The other point is this:
In a globalised world with globalised technologies (and many similar protocols) and global manufacturers, guarantees/ warranties have to be be comparable.
I don't mind the BB-K1 being called Optiemus... then and only then will I let BlackBerry Canada off the hook!!
You can soapbox as much as you like, but that's simply not the business model here.
The alternative to this licencing arrangement was nothing at all, so we take what we can get. BlackBerry was already prepared to give up the brand entirely.

As far as I know, K1 is more than 2 years old.

I tried to speak to them already regarding my broken Oreo update.
It's better to ask my 75 years-old neighbors to repair it instead of asking something from those Indian technicians.
But I am happy with my dual sim K1 :)
speaking just about -7 Indian version
