I posted this in support, but it didn't link to my account, and this may a better place to get insights.

I've suddenly got the issue where my 'Ring Volumes' short cut either only half works or not at all.

I used to be able to press once to mute, then again to go to alarms only, and then again to be normal ring volume.

Now, it will mute, but hang the screen with no apps on it, or go into multi tasking, and then to take it out of that mode, I need to actually slide the volume control.

Or, if used enough times, it won't work at all, or just hang the screen?

    Any ideas??

Just a wild shot, but try clearing the cache of the BlackBerry launcher and see if it helps?

Probably something to do with that. I would clear all cache (settings, storage, internal, cached data) and then reboot and see what that does.

Great suggestions! and something I didn't think of doing.

I'm getting the same issue, just a snappier more responsive version of it...

Did you clear the entire device cache or just the launcher?

Something isn't right here. Have you tried a hard reboot? Hold powerbutton for 32 seconds. Something is causing issues on your device.

I would wipe the phone. Something rogue is screwing a lot of things up it seems.

That's was going to be the final option - looks like it's going to have to happen
