If anyone has a Windows PC, a BBB100-7, and a willingness to wipe their phone, please read this post (number 79): https://forums.crackberry.com/showth...1#post12992056

Skip the parts about the database files, but if someone could upload (install dir)\bin\PRD-63764-001\AAO548\bbry_qc8953_sfi-user-production_signed-AAO548.zip (make sure it ends in .zip and not .zip_somenumber) that would be much appreciated.

I am uploading a working autoloader now for AAO548. I got the production boot sig from the OTA file and then downloaded the incomplete full update from the python tclcheck script. Then copy boot.img.production.sig and rename to recovery.img.production.sig in sig folder. Will post link of raw files when upload complete.

Wait, even though the boot and production signatures are different, loading the same signature file to both partitions worked?

yep it appears there was no new recovery sig in the OTA but there was a production boot sig. Just for grins, I compared past recovery and boot sigs and they appeared exactly the same and the only validation done was the content and the exact same time/date on both files. So i copied the new boot.img.production sig from the new OTA to the sig folder of raw files and renamed it recovery.img.production.sig and copied the host and autoloaders from AAO472 host and autoloader folders. Didn't expect it to work but it booted without issue on my CDMA K1. I'm going to test this process on older firmwares to see if it is repeatable.

Unfortunately, unlocked KEYones distributed in Europe are stuck on July update. This is a serious concern since we are exposed to BlueBorne vulnerability.

That's the UK model, right? It seems the others are on either August or September.

Please find raw files with working sigs here for AAO548. Feel free to steal shamelessly.

I think you can set it up so that it will not be automatic and so that the owner has control.

Indeed!! Very frustrating, and the notification bug is already there for 2 months. Not acceptable....showstopper and another shxtshow like this will push people away from the nice hardware
