1. I can't head to best buy at the moment to get another phone. Is there any way to emulate the screen with usb on my macbook pro so I can view messages, apps, and interact with the phone?
2. I purchased the phone unlocked at best buy, I believe in late June. What is the default warranty that best buy gives you? Or do you have to go right to blackberry?
3. I didn't know if this should go in the screen thread as the question is more about emulating the phone, so move it if you have to.
I am currently out of the state and I fear that best buy would just replace my phone with another faulty one primarily because most best buy workers don't know anything about the phone to begin with. Calling the stores never helps because the online inventory doesn't match their inventory and I have to wait to get an actual person to physically verify they have a phone in the store. Hold times are usually about 20 minutes for me and before i make the 30 mile drive, I want to know that I can actually replace my phone.
If the screen no longer works (cable torn), then it is very hard to do anything since most Cast/Mirror or "file move apps (AirDroid, AirMore) need you to interact on the screen.
