    I just suffered it! I left my phone on my nightstand face down while I slept, woke up and picked it up and the screen tried to fall out when I picked it up.

    Good thing I got an Assurant warranty!

    Glad that your cable did not tear.

    The normal warranty should apply without outside insurance.
