I use a Blackberry KeyOne , 32GB, dual SIM. Recently I have experienced the following problems with my phone :
• Intermittent screen flickering:
• When this happens, letters, number and characters ,”float” across the screen
• Typing is not possible as the cursor starts typing random words
Any advise what the fault is and how it can be fixed , will much appreciated

My first thought is that the touchscreen digitizer is defective. Is there any crack in the glass on the LCD assembly? Any such crack could lead to the actions you are experiencing.
If there are absolutely no cracks on the screen then I would suggest doing a Factory reset. If that doesn't work then you'll have to start disassembling the phone to check the connection from the LCD assembly to the motherboard.
I'd lean towards the digitizer being defective whether it be a crack or water damage. LCD replacements are really cheap BTW.
1. Launch the Phone app, then use the keypad to type: *#2886#
2. Select MANU
3. Touch Panel - use your finger to draw lines in the yellow area, first vertically 3x, then horizontally 3x
4. LCD - entire screen will go through different colors and displays
5. LCD Backlight - entire screen will flash between lit and off
6. To exit, scroll all the way down to the bottom, then select Exit

How is the user going to access this if the screen is not functioning?
