Hey OP, just wondering what was 'OS' specs written on the back of your KEYone box?

I've noticed there's 2 variations, The first one was 'Latest Android' and the newer ones seem to say 'Android 7.1 Nougat'.

I'm just wondering if the 'screen lift' issue is present on the newer boxes.

I found out that the 3M "RED" tape is the stickiest. But I also read it's harder to work with.

Also 1mm-1.5mm is probably ideal for our screens. Mine was 2mm wide and I had to work really precisely to get it fitting perfectly without any coming out of the sides.

Beside the screen isn't well glued/sticked, I think its actually design fault. A phone with the front glass not covering the whole face like K1 will easily pops out when it gets bended (note, if it isn't glued perfectly), Im sure it will also happen to similar front glassed phone like Z10.

i am not sure you have seen the three sides with glue with one side missing, which design group would do that for a symmetrically mount LCD display? Look like M&P issue (Material and process... ).

The price we all pay when big companies license out their product to have a third party handle things. Also main reason why I usually wait for the new batch to take place. Get all the kinks out

While I'm still waiting on my K1, two friends have them and both of them had screens lift... One lifted before four of us on lookers while my buddy pulled off the protective screen cover !!!!!!!!

I am hesitant to buy this phone for this reason. I am thinking the second phone release will be better. Is it just me but there seems to be a lot of problems. This is the first Blackberry that I did not buy as soon as it was released.

Its obviously a wide spread manufacturing issue. Mine appears to be solid as a rock like everyone else's whose screen hasn't come off. Not gonna be happy if/when this happens.

Says the guy with a spare S8 plus to use as a backup. I don't have that luxury. All I ask for is for blackberry to make the replacement procedure fast and easy, it's the least they could do. Take a credit card number and send you a replacement overnight as soon as you provide photos, then when you receive it you can send your defective unit.

Android phones are dime a dozen online, get a 3-4 year old phone to keep as a spare. I always have an old phone laying around just in case.

This is a bigger deal than some folks on this forum are saying. Can you think of a phone with this many issues out of the gate?
