I've heard that one of the biggest complaints about the KeyOne is that the screen is popping out. I'm wondering if Blackberry has started selling the updated version that has this issue corrected. I want to buy one off of Amazon but am worried I will end up with an older one that still has this same problem. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!
Wondering if retailers (Amazon, BestBuy) are returning defective stock and getting fixed version? are they just saying they fixed it and just dealing with defective ones as they are returned? are they reapplying glue to those returned and selling as new? (the latter question arose with Passport screen lift and was never adequately answered) what exactly is the so called KEYᵒⁿᵉ solution actually applied? what is the exact date the fixed ones started coming off the production line? are they tearing open the returned or unshipped stock and fixing them applying a FALSE date of production? Who fixes them in the USA?
summary of my diatribe: how long to wait to get a fully brand new correctly manufactured KEYᵒⁿᵉ for sure?
Get one from amazon sold by TCL Communications.
My first one, I got from them, and it had the screen lift issue. I emailed TCL through Amazon, and the next day a brand new KEYone was at my doorstep, one that TCL emailed me and said had the adhesive fix.
How do you know if they're coming from TCL communications through Amazon, or if someone is just reslling...
Look for the one that says " ships and sold by TCL communications"
Any way to know how long to flush the old product? For used purchase do they honor the warranty across owners?
They are sold out on Amazon, you can only get one from 3rd partys
I'm pretty sure all the brand new ones on Amazon are sold out (which I would think are from TCL Communications). They only one's available for purchase are through third party, which my guess is you can't insure that they are the new and improved ones or not. Thanks for the reply.
