Probably the display that's used? It's not exactly a new or recent display type. I would assume probably patents had to do with it too.

This isn't a question these forums can answer completely. You'd have to ask the engineering and design team.

Personally, I don't like curved-edge displays like the Samsung 8 & 9. It makes the device annoying to hold and used with one hand since your palm constantly touches the screen. I hate using my mother's S8 without a case.

My preference would be rye bottle glasses. Then you see what you think is what you see :-)

The Priv display went out to the edges which made it hard to pick the phone up without messing with the screen... I like the KeyOne just the say it is...
