The black strip at the base of the keyboard on the KEYone getting tonnes of scratches by seemingly just being carried in my jeans' pockets.
Is everyone else facing this? Any way to remedy this?
PS: I have already bought a protective case. As usual it doesn't prevent direct contact as the scratched surface is on the front side of the device.
Absolutely nothing else in there. I even emptied my pockets of any possible pocket dust, but still no cigar!
It's a shame seeing these minor scratches on an otherwise spotless surface. Sigh.
Well, I may be over-cautious. I use the Stilgut flip case so that the front is protected. But then I keep that inside a micro-fiber eyeglass sack. I want to keep the lens from getting smudgy and dusty so that it takes sharp pictures.
And, YES, it takes a bit longer to get my phone out and usable.
I'm look for a solution to my bottom bezel on the k1. Mine has develop all this hairline scratches from being carried on the pocket. I hope replacing it is simple as popping it off and sticking a new one.

Use some automotive touch up paint. Wait for it to dry before using the phone.
