Solid 5/7. Would have been as good as Dark Knight if it wasn't so expensive.

Well, hard to rate something you've never used, but if it lives up to its promises, we should be looking at a solid 8.

Not a PKB fan so not too excited about it..

Tend to buy higher end phones too... so again not much to be excited for.

But I can see how those that really love a PKB phone would be stoked to at least have this option. Really hope that TCL can get most US Carriers onboard with this phone, as that will cut the cost down for those in a position to use an upgrade.

I gave it a 9... The specs are solid and the phone looks well built. In hands time will determine if that scores holds up or not.. For now my only concern is it's height.. Looks to be a rather TALL phone..

Well, hard to rate something you've never used,

We have no idea until we use as daily driver for a solid 3-4 weeks. If battery is as stated along with keyboard that is similar to 9000 or classic, I'm going to be giving it a high number.

9/10 for me, and it should of been the successor to my passport but I caved in waiting and got the priv, not that it's a bad phone itself but for me this would be better.

Hard to rate something without physical feel or experience. Given Blackberry's track record though, the general feel is a "wait and see" attitude.

Those who have rated this phone as almost perfect must either be new to Blackberry, or know something that the rest of us don't know.

Difficult to rate a device without seeing it or holding it . Having said that I have seen the feedback of the CB veterans who visited the MWC and have been quite impressed. Being a PKB fan I will rate it 8/10 . My premise for this rating is because of improved PKB experience with fingerprint scanner, improved camera rear and front , much improved design and better battery life .

Agree. I will guess and say 7/10. Enough to buy for those, like me, who value a pkb. My rating, blind as it is, is also contingent on a pkb that is clearly and without any debate better than the Priv. If it is not, then the device is a near zero. If it is as good as the Bold, then it could be a 9/10.

I gave it an 8/10. I like the looks and what people have been saying about it. Will be my next BB phone. I can't give it 10, because I haven't seen it in the flesh or used it yet... Am really hoping it's a 10 though when I've got it! Fingers crossed!!

I will give it a 8.5 based on what I have been reading about it and the hands on videos I have seen on Twitter.

Giving 9/10,which is actually due to a one month availability delay, otherwise, 10/10. Don't care for specs, for me is enough BlackBerry logo along with pkb. BlackBerry forever!!

    -1 for April Launch
-1 for price (unless they decide to launch at $499 instead of $549).

10, just because the brand is still on it's feet. Seriously, they've lasted far longer than most tech commentators expected.

To me its far to early to really say. But in the interest of trying:

The phone appears to be of a good build quality. This has been, and forever will be, a huge criteria for me. If I am shelling out my hard earned cash I want to feel that it is worthy of what I am spending my money on, +1.

Excited about the PKB. This is another important aspect to me. I would like the phone to have a better keyboard than the Priv, which I feel is slightly cramped and the buttons are mushy. From what I have heard the K1 is a definite upgrade in this regard, +1 for having a PKB and another +1 for it being such a good PKB.

I use my phone throughout the day, sending hundreds of texts and emails. I handle probably 1-2 hours worth of phone calls as well. I do a minimal amount of social networking but do browse the CB app quite a bit. Therefore, I don't believe that I need a phone with the most blazing fast SoC. I need one that would be fast enough for my usage and not eat the battery up within a few hours of unplugging. This, coupled with the 3505maH battery, is a huge plus to me, battery and SoC, +2.

Pretty excited about having a superior camera sensor in a BlackBerry. This is something that I feel BlackBerry fans have been slighted on for the most part, in the past. Another +1.

Crackberry Kevin is back! In part due to this phone. What the heck, +1.

The fact that we have another BlackBerry phone. A good quality BlackBerry phone. That in itself is exciting, +1.

We just received an update to BBM, there is the BlackBerry Suite of apps, quick charge 3 with boost, and other peripherals, +1

Alas, there is a continued wait for the dang thing. Until April, -1.

Price. This is difficult. While I feel that a $550 price tag is not unreasonable I was expecting it to be $500. Therefore, -1.

So sorting out my plusses and minuses I am apparently at a 7.
