    Hello,

    If someone is interested ...

I have fully tested a SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC A1 of 400GB on KeyONE Silver and Black Edition.

This is used as storage (not internal) for photo, music files, data...
    No trouble have been encountered.

Is it affordable? (g) And what are you storing that you need that much space?

    Videos, videos and more videos!

Too bad the keyone screen is 'smaller' as a result of the PKB to really enjoy video content.

I chose to go PKB for the input experience and accuracy of typing but have to admit I miss the larger screen for video and media consumption.

I know I know the PRIV form had it both but the phone was a dog for me and was plagued with slow performance and overheating.

I just pick up a keyone. A new SD card arrives in the mail Today. Is this plug and play or do I have to do something to the card before installing it?

Yes plug and play. you have to decide if you want it as part of the device(non-removable) or to use it as extra storage(removable) so you can take it out and put in another device/computer alter. You should get a notification after you pop it in and it is detected.

I don't think OP wants to sell it.. He is letting you know how well it works.

Only thing I have to add is that this is a lot of data on a very small place. I had 128gb and it was corrupted and i lost a bunch of large performance movies(2+GB, 30 minute plus movies) that was never backed up to google. I think a 64 gb is more than adequate.

    Hello,

I use it as a USB Key for everything.
I'm storing music (flac files), photos, iso files, personal and professional data, backup ... and backup using rsync on nas.

I have now enough space for whole data.

I'm living in France and I payed it 206€ HT (without vat).

    Hello,

I have seen many users reporting problems with SD Card.
I need more storage space so I have decided to test this SD Card because in France MicroSDXC 512Gb is not available at hardware wholesalers.

Of course I can resell this type of hardware ... but it is expensive and it is not my goal .

If someone wants to buy an SD card with lots of space, I just wanted to reassure and share the fact that it works well with the KeyOne.

Thanks for the heads up but I don't feel comfortable pushing past 128GB. I've never had a card go on me and I constantly back them up but 400GB is an awful lot of data to lose if it decides to die on you.

I don't understand why the size matters. Whatever size card (or even internal storage) you have, you need to back it up anyways.

Yes I need more time to backup ... but not so much
I have a script and a kernel rule ... and each time it is plugged a backup of delta data is made ....

I'm agree with you about loosing data ... but 400gb or 128gb is same for me

As many users I have two phone (pro/perso) and sensitive or important data is duplicated on them (or phone + usb key).

My philosophy is to store only a bunch of duplicate data on SD Card or USK key ... only for usage, for traveling but not for real persistent backup ... so if during the day the card burn .... nothing is loosed
