Can this be trusted, though? I mean, Rogers was totally accurate last time, haha.

Carriers in general hate updates in general. They prefer you just buy a new phone.

They're ambivalent. The business model (in the US) has moved past device sales and is returning to monthly service revenue.

Hmmm, wonder if you can load the new OS onto an AT$T KEYone. Use to be able to do that with BB10.

If they were ambivalent, they wouldn’t go to lengths to block enhanced services on factory unlocked devices. My last employee conversation in corporate owned store has plan sales targets and certain device sales targets.

Both the NA Motion and KEYᵒⁿᵉ Oreo OS builds have been certified this time on PTCRB.

Forgive me, I posted this question elsewhere and didn't get a response. Simple question I hope. to update my K1 (it is a Rogers phone), do I need to insert the Rogers Sim card from my K2 (Factory unlocked)? Thanks in advance,

Would this include the BBB100-3, PRD 63118-001?

I have a Blackberry KeyOne I bought from BlackBerry Mobile that I've been using on Rogers since day 1. Will I be ellible for the update since I'm on Rogers Network? Or since it's a factory unlocked phone, do I need to wait until BlackBerry/TCL themselves pushes the update... I desperately need Wi-Fi calling activated! lol. urgh

Not possible. You have to wait for At&t to release the OTA for their branded phones

Maybe, maybe not, it's just the BBB100-1 that gets certified.

If you didn't get your phone from Rogers, then there's no promise that Oreo will give you WiFi calling. That's a provider feature, and it's up to them to enable it or not.

Just wiped my unlocked Bell keyone using the mobile update tool because it bricked itself for some reason.

To my surprise, it downloaded and installed Oreo!

Yup. It's on the server now. Using Sugar or Mobile Upgrade tool on any Canadian carrier or PRD-63116-001/039 factory unlocked devices will give you Oreo. OTA expected Monday.

Would using mobile upgrade tool trigger Oreo for BBB100-3, PRD63118-001 being that I think it rolls on same schedule as BBB100-1?
