I want to have ringtone profiles like:
Silent (LED off) - Silent (LED on) - Vibration - Low Volume (Vibration off) - Medium Volume (Vibration off) - High volume (Vibration on)

How would you recommend to do this?
The whole process seems to be a mess and the phone just vibrates whenever it is in the mood for a vibration...

    Nope, doesn't work.
If I set the vibration to "deactivate" in a profile, the phone still will vibrate.

But the app also tells me "some phones will need to activate do not disturb mode to disable vibration", so maybe the keyone is one of these.

Wow this is crazy... I seem to have to deactivate vibration for every app that does vibrate.
And for SMS I have to deactivate it for every contact!!

This is an Android Oreo issue, see also:

And after I deactivated vibration in about 100 different submenus it is possible to manage it with some sound profile manager.
