I set the ringtone I wanted for phone calls...

went to SETTINGS > SOUND
and listed there under 'phone ringtone'... I selected the one I wanted.

now that I have the sim card in, and im testing things out, I find the ringtone, even though its properly listed in the settings to the one I chose... is not working.. the default one is the one that is working.

how do I get the one I want to take?

Have you placed it in your internal storage under the Ringtones folder?

Make sure you use "Media Storage" to set it, as shown in Bla1ze's link. If you set it using a file manager, while it will show correctly, it will play the default sound Spirit.

yes, its in the ringtones folder on the device.

I did use media storage... and put it in the ringtone folder.... what do I do? It's using the default, and I want that gone... help
