Long time blackberry user 1st time android user. Can't figure out the life of me how to record in full screen. When recording a video, I get a black screen on the corner of my screen as if I'm recording in 16:9 ratio. I tried all setting for the video ������, but their isn't much to play with. Even now I'm starting to notice that viewing video ������ posted on social media are playing on my phone in 16:9 ratios.

Can some one please confirm if this is normal or not. Is it possible to change the settings to be able to record and play video on full screen. I feel like this happened after the recent update on my phone AAV119.

I don't think you can change aspect ratio for video recording in the native app, only resolution and frame rate. Perhaps check the play store for another app if that's a big thing for you.

ZX14R Pilot, Thank you for the reply back. I don't mind it being the way it is as long as it is normal. I thought ������ something might have changed since the last phone update since I don't recall recoding a video on a 16:9 ratio. Just seems weird that the full screen is being utilized when recording a video.

I think the 16:9 ratio is normal. It's the ratio of all TV and most computer screens. Now if only people would figure out that they should hold their phone sideways when recording a video. . .
