I have seen a few posts about the radio not performing as well in the CDMA variant. Is this a widespread and all units issue or just some bad apples?

I get one to two bars 4GLTE at home with the Classic. What can I expect with a CDMA KEYone?

I assume software related and will be corrected. I've experienced some dropped calls on my device. Twice today switching from blue tooth back to the hand set in my car

Can this sort of thing be corrected by software or is it a limitation of the hardware? That is the question.

I'm between two towers at home and regularly see only one or two bars on my DTEK, but I've never had a problem with reception.

Software only plays small role in power reception, there is no way its software's fault.

Wow I sure hope it is software. I cannot afford to have no reception at my house

We have all seen it before with bb10, I have little doubt it will be fixed

Agreed! It's generally a software issue! As most if not all components are drivers driven it's mainly a software issue and rarely a hardware issue!

Nope, power reception mostly affect by the antenna design. Software plays on how data being transmitted, received. or corrected through those power.

Yep...my issue seems to be when it switches from hand held to blue tooth . Had the same issue on bb10 and it was corrected on the next software update. Coming soon.

Sorry, didn't know that your issue is when changing network. I thought it was gsm/cdma reception power.
