basically, last QWERTY phone which is not blackberry, was released with 2.5 android (or so) in 2012...

- Motorola Droid 4, which ran 4.1, released Feb. 2012 (Verizon only)

It was actually a candidate to replace my Pre 3 but I couldn't find one. And I hated that blue. And that's how I ended with a dreadful year with BB10.

Interesting comment because when I got my first blackberry in 2011 I was shocked at how crappy the keyboard was compare to my Nokia E75.

There is absolutely no competition when it comes to an android PKB device. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this because BlackBerry holds almost all of the patents that make a PKB for mobile good?

That would be awesome, hehe. I loved my E90 Communicator! And Nokia's Communicators before that, especially the 9300 with the once superior Series 80 UI.

There was a limited production run of a modular keyboard attachment for the Jolla Phone. Most of the good android PKB phones are having Jolla's Sailfish OS ported to them. I'm currently running it on my Photon Q, which itself was modified to accept a sim card for use on GSM networks (yes, I went a lot of trouble to use that phone). The Photon Q and Droid 4 have the same PKB and it was imo the best PKB on android.
