Hi there,

I'd like to know when, if ever, I can purchase a BB KEYone directly from Crackberry or BB Mobile in Canada.

I'm a Rogers customer but I don't want to buy one outright from them as I don't want any chance whatsoever of any Rogers software branding, update/security delays, etc.

Is there an answer to this question?

Very much looking forward to buying an unlocked KEYone outright ASAP!!!!

Amazon.ca will have it....

Not clear if BlackBerryMobile.com will sell devices, or just point users to Carriers or Retailers.

CrackBerry.com.... kinda is the officially support for BlackBerry, maybe they should be an authorized retailer?

I would prefer to buy it from Crackberry directly - they would be my #1 vendor of choice if it was available.

None. Get a credit card for online purchases.

Otherwise you'll have to get a PayPal account, and it's not accepted everywhere. Definitely not accepted on Amazon.

You can get someone with an Amazon account to buy it for you or get an Amazon gift certificate for you (you can send certificates to an email address)

I believe you can use a gift certificate without any credit card.

Buy amazon gift card in grocery stores. I do that $500 is the max I found. Works great. Just buy 2 of those

That's the UK version currently listed on Amazon.ca I believe. It makes sense that it would be priced higher.

If a KEYone is £499 in Britain...is that not around $900 CAD give or take?

But I could be wrong. Maybe the seller isn't in the United Kingdom at all.

Regardless...the fact that the phone isn't officially for sale yet in North America... it's going to be priced higher on that alone.

Just called Wireless Wave retailer and they will carry the KEYone but it will be tied to a service provider. They don't sell unlocked. Search continues...
