    A few days ago I started getting notices about reaching my carrier data limit. I discovered that BlackBerry Hub and Services had gone haywire in the background and is not only consuming data but draining the battery as well. I cleared the cache and have preformed several hard reboots but it's still acting up. My emails syncing is also an issue now. Any other suggestions to fix this?

    Me too. I had another post on this. I uninstalled hub services and reinstalled and that did the trick for a few days. Now back. I am trying everything like disabling certain email accounts, set sync for all accounts to not push, 15 mins, stopped syncing certain accounts.

    Nominally app usage of hub services is 200mb. Last month it was 2gb.

    It looks like there's a bug in the hub services where it is thrashing and leaving a data connection open. For example is it stuck constantly syncing on email, or a calendar invite? Something very wrong.

    For me this appeared to start in early July, when I picked up the Jun 21 update to hub services. See attached data woes.

    I contacted blackberry by the support email (no response). I left a terrible review on play store.

    Driving me nuts. Killing my pay as you go data plan and my battery draining fast.

    Would love to understand how to solve, or somehow get blackberry to actually look at it. Considering breaking out my passport again as this is so terrible.

    Conite, do you have any suggestions? I did a factory reset a couple of months ago and with the issues listed above, I'm not sure it will fix it. I too have the data connection issue...my IT people noticed it and were baffled.

    By the way, how do you uninstall Hub Services? Do you have to pay the subscribe fee to get it back?

    After deleting my accounts, things settled for a few days and now usage is back up. Hub services is again the top offender. Upload seems to be more of issue. See attached.
