I ordered mine yesterday and on selection there were two options. One to collect from store on the 6th of May and one for direct delivery to a premises of your choice for the 5th of May. So this looks to be consistent thus far. I have been an observer from a far and have seen many people's frustrations, lets hope it arrives on time.

Going to roll into Selfridge here in London on the 27th and hopefully bag a couple of these beauties before the postal orders go out.

The most hilarious thing is I registered for updates on the BlackBerry site months ago and have heard absolutely nothing since. I get more love from those guys in Ghana that keep trying to send me their money.

I'd still put a few quid on Selfridges not having it on the 27th Based on one guy speaking to a trolley dolly at Selfridges ... hope I am wrong though, I'll travel and just have 2!

Nope nothing. The Telcos don't even have a clue either. The last few offerings didn't perform well so not sure if there will be another BlackBerry launch here in Australia.

Our best chance is from Clove because they have good reputation and honour warranty. I have bought a few times from them.

OK tried my luck. Don't think CPW export overseas.
Wish I had someone coming over from UK lol. Naah the warranty claims will be an issue.

@TheBond I think it will go on general sale, that is in stores other than telcos. (Using some of the alcatel distribution channels possibly).

As to telcos, maybe optus and telstra, but who knows.

@Heavens1 I believe it'll be Telstra this time. Optus had PRIV. They're taking turns

With respect to Clove honouring warranty, have you ever had to return a BlackBerry you bought through Clove?

Do you have to pay the postage back to the UK?

No I have never claimed it but I would have to pay for shipping one way. At least I'm not screwed by grey importers and have some warranty. They used to give 24 months when I bought Passport SE.

Also once they didn't send one of the Accessories and one live chat session resolved it. Express shipping with no cost. It was impressive.

Yes it's nothing like local warranty but it's the next best thing.

@TheBond yep, I thought I may end up getting my k1 there if it's not generally available here.

Or, cb Canada store, cos we're the same bands as them again (priv).

But, I won't be getting mine for some months yet.

And I wouldn't touch the non BlackBerry aligned, grey importer bbstore here in sydney if you paid me!

I don't believe Canada will be better for us. EMEA version should suit us more.

Actually I didn't give the CA much thought as there are no announcements from there plus not a good site to send through.

Either ways both CA and EMEA both covers us Aussies.

    We just need 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 40 for LTE to cover all networks.

@TheBond I might clarify by saying I refer to crackberry shop CA.(although, cb shop US would work too, would depend on $, and CAD is very close to/on parity with AUD)

@Heavens1 yeah I would have too but it's cheaper to buy from Clove at times and they don't charge VAT / GST.

It was coming up around $730 delivered for KeyOne last time I checked.
I have never tried from Crackberry

That's cheaper than the supposed $799 it's going to cost here.

Don't people care about the differences in bands between the US and UK versions? I travel a lot internationally but I live in the US so I want the US phone. They're not the same.

Cistulli has shown himself to be a bit of a tease. Maybe that 5th Tweet confusion was entirely intentional.
Would you say, that it was all part of their... nevermind, won't go there, I might "trigger" someone... Am I using these new-age hipster terms correctly? Lol. :-D

It would be funny if it was, but I don't see any benefit to it, so doubt it... :-)

I don;t believe this Selfridges stuff. It's CPW in Selfridges too...
Selfridges is saying they will have it in store on the 27th and CPW is saying if you order online now, they will deliver it to you by the 5th.
