The central Oregon coast. Taken 1-21-19 -- stunningly beautiful day. This is from a drive down HWY 101. The rainbow was early morning as the some was coming up behind us. We had a beach view from our hotel. There are more photos which I may also post.
I may be down in Seaside in March. Hope for as nice weather.
The northern coast of Oregon (where Seaside is located) is beautiful. There is a lot of history there. Stormy weather on the Oregon coast is under rated and under reported. There can be hurricane force winds the rest of the country hears little or nothing about. There are people who go to the coast and get beach - facing hotel rooms just to watch the storms. We have a couple of accounts on the northern Oregon coast. We usually ship or meet the owner in Portland, but may need to take a trip to do a delivery later in the spring.

I've been down once or twice. My friend's grandparents both owned homes in Seaside and she still loves the place. Friends purchased a home there last Fall and we are invited. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate both ways (g)
Yes, Virginia, it did snow in Seattle. Skied down and around Greenlake. Most images are "black and white" but the sledders managed to add color. Taken after the second storm.

Love it! All we got so far was just a little earlier in the week and then rain that turned to snow last night as the temperature plummeted. We were out visiting friends. When we came out the car windows were caked with ice and then snow on top of it. It also melted today as the temp. rose above freezing and the sun even came out for a while. But Portland got more. I will post a couple of pics from the first storm.
The first shot was taken in the middle of the night when I woke up and saw the snow outside. I used HDR and with the streetlight it came out pretty bright, but is a little blurry.
This is basically the same view as the previous post but without HDR.
It is darker but the image is crisper. It is more realistic. This and the photo above were taken at about 2:30 AM when I woke up and saw it had snowed when I looked out the door.
Here are some photos from Feb 5 -n Keizer Rapids Park after the snow we got in Keizer. Not much snow but it stayed below freezing so the snow clung to the trees and bushes.

Well, Storms Three and Four also arrived. Seattle is a mess but maybe thawing out a bit today with drizzle but that makes the snow on trees and roofs very heavy.
We keep shoveling and them some more.
From out State Patrol:
"More than 53 inches of snow fell in just 48 hours at the pass. Heavy snow, poor visibility and avalanche danger make it too dangerous to reopen the freeway."

I did the same - chilly night time shots. The sideyard through a closed window and out the front porch.
Beautiful! You sure got more snow than we did. Now we are getting lots rain. Snow in the mountains. This is good for the water supply next summer. The snow pack was really low earlier in the winter.
