Rainbow weather--2nd photo was from a parkinglot. The rainbow was gone, but the clouds were impressive. Taken Nov 5 in Oregon. Oregon autumn weather has returned.

Pretty good detail, for traveling at 65 or 70 mph. I sat in the passenger's seat and the sunset was on the driver's side so I took the photo across the dashboard. These were taken on I-5 driving North through Washington state on Thursday.

Well, well, there you are! I hadn't seen any posts from you lately so I figured you were on one of your adventures. When I got back home there were leaves enough from our maple tree, even though it is not real big. 🍁🍁🍁🍁
PS: Now I am expecting some photos of your mountains of leaves, or else some mountains you have visited. 🏞

I've been in a rut lately. Took forever to shake my Italian cough - like over three months. So I just got that one good Larch hike in by forcing myself.

The leaves are being binned regularly. Last week, by my estimates, I filled four bins at 250 pounds each and an additional 7 leaf bags. Yesterday, two bins and one additional bag. I get the bins from neighbors who don't have as much crap to deal with! The yard and parking strips were cleaned yesterday and need raking again today.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. You don't have to scale the highest mountains to get your photos. I take photos of what is near at hand when I am not able to go far. I notice from your profile that you have a Surface. Are you hanging out in Windows Central forum at all? I am interested in maybe getting one of those. This isn't the thread for discussing it but I thought I would mention it. Hope you feel better. We are getting smoke from those terrible fires in Northern Cal. But I am trying to get out anyway when it doesn't rain. I will be posting more photos shortly. The smoke gives a lot of color to the evening sky if the sun is out at all.

I've been remiss. Here's some from yesterday's bike ride. Mt Rainier in the distance. If you kind of follow the contrail down and left that's where Rainier is hiding.

And a few of a Bald Eagle on my walk at Greenlake in urban Seattle today. I've cropped two images and one is actually using the ZOOM on the KeyOne which I very rarely ever use.

Today's hike in the snow at Snoqualmie Pass, heading to the totally fog shrouded Snow Lake. The birds are generically called Gray Jays, Clark's Nuthatch or CAMP ROBBERS. They were clamoring for my Clif Bar.

Just about all the trees on my outing Sunday had yellow leaves on them. But then I came across some bright red ones. These photos are taken in Salem Oregon. I walked across the RR walking bridge to the park in West Salem and when I returned to the east side I spotted the red leaves.

    Oh, you are ON! (g)

I did check and the bars are spelled "CLIF" - named after creators father, I believe. Boy, it was an exhausting hike. Fighting slippery gravity even though I had microspikes on the boots.

Today, just as I got to the park (Keizer Rapids Park Oregon--near Salem Oregon) it stopped raining. The cloud cover began to give way to some areas of clear sky. It was just after sunset.
