    1 - Dial *#2886#
    2 - Hit "MANU"
3 - Then "Traceability" on top
    4 - Hit "Pass"
5 - On the bottom should be your build date
    6 - Hit "Pass" again
7 - Scroll to bottom and hit "exit"
I'd be interested to know what the manufacture dates are on the phones with faulty screens. Is it possible that it was a bad day in the factory, rather than a systemic problem with every phone built before July.

Shouldn't all distributors have returned their first batch phones around that date?? Wtf
TCL has not recalled the phone. Their position is that securing the screen on new builds is sufficient.

Well if you are old enough to remember the Firestone tire fiasco, it turned out to be tires coming out of a certain plant wasn't getting the proper treatment of the adhesive holding the tread onto the tire and they were separating while driving. Kind of similar, lol.

Well, I'm older than dirt and I do remember. So, you're persuaded (I think) that this was a systemic problem, but how do we know that? There are LOTS of phones that have not had the screen lift. So, back to my question, what are the manufacture dates of the phones that have had the problem. Seems like it might reveal something.

In the Phone App. Open the Dial Pad and enter the sequence including the SYMBOLS. It will disappear and another screen will open....

I don't think they mean anything. Mine is April 29th which is long before the CDMA was even out.

Hello my KEYONE is before July and NO issues. Second UK Owners are also receiving good customer service. Would make no sense whatsoever to comment that good followup service is limited to only USA. That is unheard off.

In of August will be at CB Berlin meetup in Berlin Re IFA. Talking directly with BlackBerryMobile staff. Let's see what else they comment and present. Without a doubt some very important issues have come from KEYone launch that will help with next device launch! coming soon!

From my experience in the tech and manufacturing industry, perhaps one of the reason why BB Mobile used less adhesive to adhere their LCD screens is to eliminate or minimize Backlight leakage from the screens they are using. Due to the sensitive nature of some LCD screens, even adhering excessive tape or adhering adhesive at specific spots on the LCD screen can cause leakage.
