My KeyOne does not receive a strong internet signal, often no signal at all, when my wife's phone (Not a BB) has a strong connection at the same time. This has happened repeatedly, under various circumstances. I am concerned that the quality is not what my older Blackberry had, and I am considering going with a Passport (I want to stay with Blackberry) if it is compatible with Sprint network. Please advise.

Known issue and since Sprint doesn't want to push further updates, likely won't ever be fully resolved.

No Passport will work on Sprint.

compare the bands on your PRD # to what sprint is using in your area.

That's not going to change anything. It's a Sprint device in a Sprint area, there's no alternatives based on the PRD or the network bands. It is what it is.

I had to factory reset my Sprint device after the abh608 update totally messed up my wifi. My k1 connects strongly now and I received the abl766 update with no issues. I contacted both Sprint and BBMo to report this issue and they claimed no one else was calling to complain about that Abh update. Until now, I could only assume that my K1 was struck by lighting or something!

Don't know what you mean by hw24. Assume abl766 was just a security update; did not notice any functionality improvements; still no Oreo on my Sprint K1

HW is your hardware version shown in settings under "About Phone" . HW24 is what mine is. this update was supposed to fix Keyone Data Issues for those of us on Sprint that lost 4G/LTE due to security updates. Look on Sprint Community as there are 45 pages under Keyone Data Issues.

Yes, my K1 is hw24. I never lost LTE after abh608 but my wifi couldn't connect at all and I did have data "sync" issues with the Sprint server. Sprint kept sending me data usage alerts that did not accurately reflect the actual data usage of my phone. Instead of trying to figure it out, Sprint gave me a $5 credit. So far, no usage alerts this month.
