Pixelated

I have a few contacts with photos and made them "Favorites" so I could call them easily.

However, their photo in Contacts and in the Phone Dialer appear pixelated?

Is this an Android issue or?

For comparison here's my Z30 Dialer and the KEYone Dialer...

Did you transfer the data from your Z30 to your KEYone? Try editing the picture, for all the contacts I had doing this, I just went in as if I was going to change the picture and then it updated to the non-pixelated version. Kinda like it was there, but it needed a refresh of sorts.

I sync'd the data from Outlook... the photos are not separately on the device. Did you go into contacts and click on edit icon and then "Change" photos and back out? I tried that and it still seems to be pixelated. There are a couple photos that are not pixelated and I found several references on Google about Android using 96 x 96 thumbnails?

Yeah, most of mine refreshed after that right before my eyes and were fine.

I'm on AAL093 (VZW CDMA) - not sure if that has something to do with it?

Since I sync with my Outlook via Akrutosync, I update my Outlook contact photos to appropriate resolution and next sync they appear corrected.

not sure why it happened in the first place. (Google bias?)
