When I try to call a number in the phone app by manually typing in the numbers, either on the soft keyboard (edit not true see below) or the physical, the numbers disappear intermittently. So I'll start typing 0788 etc and then the numbers disappear in the box half way through typing.. Anyone else has this happen occasionally. Really frustrating.

Yeh my num pad is delayed too. The whole phone side of this phone is weak.

I make a ton of calls on the Keyone and I was having the same problem with the keyboard. I figured out the problem ( for me ) was when typing the phone number I would slightly drag my finger when typing and if you swipe left it clears what you type. I just started typing on the screen the phone numbers and now, no problems.

Yes I just discovered that you cannot use the keypad to put in numbers! The soft numpad is fine but when you use the physical keyboard it's actually filtering your contacts list!

So we are both right! You are right in that even a slight swipe deletes the number. Also it filters at the same time. They really should disable the left swipe delete when in the phone app?
