    Strange issue started today. Using stock Google Phone, open it and it immediately closes. If I restart and re open it will open once, but if I close it, it automatically closes again the next time I open it. any ideas?

    I've seen this problem reported here recently so you might try a search. My vague recollection is that it might be SIM related.

    Go into Settings -> Apps -> Storage -> and clear the cache. Then try again
