I want that beast to be named Dtek5000 just because it sounds even 100x more badass than Dtek50.
Sounds like a powerful armed robot to defend our privacy. Protect and serve. Can't think of a better machine to blow these flimsy unsecure Android tin cans to kingdom come. All hails BlackBerry!

Whoa. Definitely sounds badass! Finally, we're getting some Terminator sounding names.

I'd even suggest starting a bit lower like at DTEK-1000, followed by 2000, etc. You have to leave some room to grow. For some reason, it starts to sound less cool after 5000 to me.

I see your point man. On the other hand: this will be the first real BlackBerry on Android (as far as form and features go), it's gotta be iconic in every way. Each one to follow in the fixed-pkb line has to be better but will also have to be measured by the sheer amount of havoc the Dtek5000 wrecked among all the other tin cans out there. Once the Dtek5000 had it's reign, everything will have to start from scratch anyway, right? When the death star ages, the exploited will mostly be gone. It's successor will be the Dtek5000-1 of course. His fellow, the Dtek50 will also have a child by then, the Dtek50-1... it's gotta be a leading 5 in each name, to represent the red five headed star we all love, the pentastar that means freedom from Mines Data, the false god.

Nope, T-800 and T-1000 are reserved for the 8" and 10" tablets, hence the "T"
They've gotta be build like tanks, though.

Nah, Skynet didn't get all gimmicky like that, it wasn't all about how many 0's there were. They went from T-100's to T-600's, T-800 was what Arnold was in the Terminator movies, and then the T-1000 was their prototype before they were destroyed. Would have been cool if the DTEK50 was the DTEK600 and then the upcoming pkb device would be the DTEK800, lol.

But we all know Google is Skynet right?
