Bunch of info floating around that the Oreo updates were pulled for the BBB100-1/100-2 variants. Wondering if anyone has concrete information as to why...
Firstly none of the 100-2 variants have received the Oreo update. What is your source?
PRD63117-021 was on the server waiting to be sent and was pulled. If you dig in the recent forums you'll find chatter about this...
It still shows as due for release.
It was first reported by @conite
Well maybe you should send Conite a PM
What is the point of you replying when it's not adding anything to the conversation. I'm seeking if anyone else has heard..You're wasting time and bandwidth.
Well it was reported by you that is a "bunch" of chatter about it. My apologies if you think that I'm wasting your time, but it seems that you are the only one posting catastrophic information. Sit back and wait.
I've already discredited your misinformation about Oreo being available then pulled for the BBB100-2. It's not catastrophic, it's a discussion.
Whatever floats your boat. The Oreo update for the BBB-2-021 still shows on the TCL update page. Yes, the only BBB100-2 variant that is showing as upcoming. I'll wait it out.

This is purely speculative discussion.
Earlier this week I had email from BB Support (relative to my open service order). I asked when K1 Oreo would be available for my -001.
Their reply was 'sooner but not later' ... but within a 'week or so'
:)
What did I learn ... Be Patient!
So Oreo being pulled off servers is speculative?
I just took out my Magic 8 Ball, gave it a good shake and it said.... "Cannot Tell Now".
Ok.....
My KEYone's PRD is 63116-39 (BBB100-1) and I already received the Oreo update OTA, I'm currently running ABD796.
So this means some updates have indeed been pulled out, right?
If it is due to some kind of problem with it, then it is imperceptible to the end user, I haven't had any problems so far.
LOL .. The battery on my WeGee board died.
What will be, will be.
I thought I heard the BeeGees singing “Tragedy” in the background..
"I started a joke".
From Maclean and Maclean, "I started a dose, that kept the whole world Clapping"
Canadian carrier, and BE unlocked Oreo builds are back up (same ones).
Edit: SE unlocked just came up OTA.
I have BBB100-2 PRD-63117-036 on ABA693. it's a qwertz phone from an german amazon store. Anybody knows when oreo update is to be expected? The tcl website has nothing new since early this month
Just rolled my Magic 8 Ball again and this time it came up with "Outlook Good".
I have a -1. Just finished downloading OTA and is installing as we speak. Maybe not so much a "forgot to push the button" as "pushed the button wrong so had to pull the update long enough to push the button correctly this time".
