when uploading photos. Eg. FB lite or Crackberry. It can take up to 10 seconds for the photos to appear.

    Anyone else?

Ha ha!! Never heard of an Imon and I'm worried since I thought my photo looked quite masculine!

Are you getting a bit laggy by any chance ?!!

Yes indeed your avatar is quite masculine. Myself I can get laggy when I have one too many lagermeisters. ;-). Back to topic, I am on the latest Oreo beta and not experiencing any lag. I think the lag you are experiencing is at the other end due to processing the photos.

Upload lag is likely the internet connection, especially if the file size is large.

It's not the upload, it's the appearing of the photos before I can select them.
That'd be the device itself, wouldn't it?

Is it with every app? Have you tried with, for example, Twitter or Instagram? For reference, there is no delay when selecting a photo to upload to Twitter via the app.

Well. Crackberry has improved it seems. It was instant, and so is Twitter. FB lite just took 9 seconds for the photos to appear in my gallery.
So, that would be the app and not the phone then?
Attached Thumbnails The only big KEYone lag I have is..-54112.jpg

That's what it sounds like. Give the full version of Facebook a shot. I don't use Facebook to check for myself.

    PS: Cute kitty!

Or don't use the FB app at all.. I'm happy with Metal (pretty much the same as login into FB via mobile browser).

But I didn't understand your problem.. It's lagging for the pictures to display on the app or to save them to your phone? If it's the first one, it could be internet problems or the app itself; if it's the second one, it could be your SD card (if you have one and the app is installed on it, or if the pictures are being saved on it).

It's when the user taps to upload a photo, it takes ~10 seconds for the photos to appear to select what to upload.

I used to use Friendly for Facebook. It was a great app.

Got it. In that case, given the inconsistency in the results with different apps as stated by the OP, there's no way to pinpoint the problem.. It could be any of the already mentioned problems

The problem is the time it takes for the photos to appear on the phone. They upload to the message quickly. But just tried it on my Motion and the photos appeared immediately! Confused?!

When I started using my Keyone, there was no lag. Once I downloaded FB app and FB messenger, the phone started to lag when using the Camera. The battery life also suffered. I have since deleted both app and I am happy again.

    Facebook sux.

Another slow down could be the amount of pics you have for the phone to process. I have a ton and it takes about that long to load them in apps for selection. Been that way on many bb10 phones and the Keyone.
