I could go for the Passport on Android or a Slider Passport with a longer screen. If Vienna is wide enough, I could go for that. I've gotten spoiled by the width of the Passport.

Hope you can go for something else.....
I'm sticking with BB for as long as I can.
I agree with Apple Aya , I'll stick with BB10 as long as I can or until I win a Priv.

I think the demand for a PP-style device would be significantly lower than a long Classic. They're fighting enough of a battle with a PKB device for the masses, why go with an even more polarizing build?
I agree.

They really aren't fighting a battle for the public. Chen even mentioned that the new phones are specifically targeted at business customers, and that's who they are making the new phones for. They will sell a few to random BB fans, but I doubt that they are going to break into the public consciousness with any phone - even the all-touch one. You can now get very good hardware in the Honor 5X for $199 new, why would anyone buy an all-touch BlackBerry phone. Most people couldn't care less about 'security'.
Still, I agree with your premise that the Passport form-factor is too polarizing and they will go with a more conventional shape for their PKB phone.
Yeah there are just no real advantages to the PP over the Classic keyboard. Even people that love them now grumbled at first and had to adjust. That's not how you sell a phone to anyone. The only reason it sells on BB is because it's the best-spec'd phone on the line-up.
