It doesn't change the dock number for me.
Can't change the number of dock icons, you have to change your 'smallest width' to 520 in developer options. That will result in 6 icons on the dock.

I got that far but I can't force the app drawer to go in the middle with 3 on each side. Right now it's 2, then the app drawer and then 4 .

That's normal after dpi change or smallest width change. Just restart your phone and see the magic.

With 3rd party launchers you lose the ability to assign two shortcuts to the same physical key. You can only longpress. Shortcuts are essential to the K1 experience in my opinion. Otherwise I'd just get another phone with another launcher.

Yea ive noticed that. When I long press it just opens a list of apps with that letter or contacts.

With updates like this, and continued updates we won't need 3rd party launchers. This is the way it should be. Thanks BlackBerry.

The keyboard shortcuts are OK fore the little I use them but the screen shortcuts are great

smallest width is not the same as dpi. I set my 'smallest width' to 520 which results in a dpi of 332 - that shows 6 icons, read the original post - I've updated it with detailed instructions for 6 icons on dock.

I'm with Bell and it works on mine. I have to undo what ever I did to it. Everything is way to small now.

I tried this and decided I didn't like it, but I've forgotten what the original (factory setting) "smallest width" was. Could somebody help me? Thanks.

Is this the smallest width or dpi? The OP makes the point that they're not the same.

This is the default. After you select 411, reset it. Then open it up.
