that's so strange I'm on hub version 1.1.5.7538. I just got the update when I plugged into charger this morning on wifi, maybe try that?
Thanks for the response and yes I'm on wifi, found the BlackBerry Launcher under Settings....Apps...but once I open the App I do not have option to change settings my version is 1.1.5.7163. Nor do I have the three dots that might show settings. Oh well. Good find and good luck to those who can modify their settings.
Edit...I ran the update from the Play Store...now I'm up to speed. Must try changes. BTW I have automatic updates turned off don't want/need/use a number of the applications other than the basic ones used for a business phone. Thanks for your help.
Searched and searched....I'm also on AAN517...cannot find BlackBerry Launcher.. I'm with Bell, does that make a difference. Thanks

What do you mean you can't find BlackBerry Launcher? Like you can't find an update or the app itself? To get to the setting the OP is talking about, long press on an empty part of your home screen, there you will have option such as wallpapers and widgets and also a great setting icon, click on that and that is the BlackBerry launcher settings.
That would seal the deal for me. Until then it's nova launcher.
Nova also removes all lag from the device.
I agree. And Nova makes putting your phone back to as it was after a reset with the restore feature a breeze. Very handy when I'm going on my fourth keyone.

I think that the BlackBerry launcher broke the notifications. How do I get notifications with Nova?

Blackberry launcher didn't break your notifications. Nova launcher doesn't support blackberry notifications - that's not blackberry's fault. Nova's solution is to use tesla unread app.

if you open you app drawer, select the settings cog in the upper right corner. That will bring you into the BB Launcher settings
OMG the new BlackBerry Launcher update allows grid layout and icon size control! this was the ICING ON THE CAKE. No need to use third party launchers anymore, which means we can use the keyone's double physical keyboard shortcuts - the way the device was meant to be used! I've been waiting for this since the PRIV days! Using any other launcher other blackberry launcher on keyone is a total waste IMHO. You lose the double shortcuts on the keys - what's the point of owning a K1 if you can't use double shortcuts on the PKB? Good news is, now you don't have to! BB Android launcher does it all.
update: This update to the launcher also fixes the google assistant trigger from the holding down the home button. You don't need to set the smallest width in developer mode to 476 anymore. It will work with any smallest width.
This is tested working with build AAN517 on Rogers Network in Canada.
guys for me the changes to the launcher adding icon size and grid size came by way of an app update for the launcher in googleplay. there was no physical firmware update i.e via the update tool.
nice improvement though to the launcher. literally no real need for third party launcher
