Proof me otherwise, but so far I feel this BlackBerry monthly update is a hoax. Only thing BlackBerry can right now offer what others can't is top quality keyboard.

I called my service provider that do they block android updates and they said no. so it must be that I don't get updates because I bought my phone from UK or that I am using it in Europe.

The file is named TMPSVN by the update app before installing. After installing it shows build number AAP638. Same in settings - about phone.

Maybe it stands for TeMPorary SubVersioN?
