Not just the west coast. I live in DC area and they are making wait an Xtra day via 2-day shipping

One poster said that when he got his order email, he clicked on manage order and changed his order to one day. Of course after 6PM PST one day shipping will now be thursday

Yeah, I was really crossing my fingers for overnight shipping, but oh well. At this point, waiting an extra 24 hours seems like a cake walk.

Also, in comparing with Best Buy, Amazon gave us a good jump on ordering, whereas every Best Buy that i called, including their main 800 line had no idea what the hell i was saying when i asked about the phone's availability.
