    I'll bet we hear on CB from someone pre-orders are open before they even bother to blast the email list TCL is generating. Hope I'm wrong!

    I totally agree with you. The update if the May delay should have been sent to people who registered for updates. This was kind of an important update. Also agree that they should have opened pre-orders by now too.

    People should just stop asking when the device will be available or why hasn't there been any information. The answer is and has been "COMING SOON". Soon could mean next week, next month...next whenever. That is the m.o. so don't expect anything else.

    For two companies claiming their devices are for communicating and getting things done, they sure do a terrible job of communicating to their userbase overall.

    Relax everyone. Steve was vague but clear. More info in May about May availability. Thinking it's an under-promise over-deliver issue. My guess in US is April 26 pre-order and May 1 availability.

    One thing not mentioned is just because BBMobile is manufacturing and running the site doesn't mean they'll be distributing. They could use a vendor like BlackBerry was using Digital River.

    I would be satisfied with that. Happy, even. It'd be nice to get an update though.

    Of course, I'm not going to jump ship even if the KEYone doesn't come til July. I'm still going to get one.

    But it'd still be nice to have a better idea when. Mid-May, early, late, delayed further, whatever.

    I should have gone ahead and gotten that Priv just to satisfy my curiosity.

    Totally understandable. Have friends who love the PRIV and friends who hate it. I loved DTEK50 except unlocking and locking. Then the DTEK60 was to big. I think the KEYone is the perfect fit

    BBMo will definitely be distributing the KEYone, but probably not handling sales directly. They do not sell Alcatel phones directly either, but provide links to the carriers that do sell them.

    Considering Kevin's recent marketing deal with TCL, I won't be surprised if the K1 is available unlocked through Shop CrackBerry.

    Makes sense, that's more or less what I meant but used distributing incorrectly. I could definitely see a deal where CB sells devices making sense.
