All my notifications have never had any issues. Gmail, Textra, Facebook, FB Messenger, Instagram, Blackberry Work, PayPal, Samsung Heatlh, Weather app, YouTube...all of them.

I got the new AAN517 update but never had the issue with the past updates as well.

Yes. But it did not. I finally got AAL093 with autoloader.

I can get over some apps not notifying but apps I use with persistent notifications that eventually or immediately close themselves is a complete detriment to using the device. For the second straight month (read: Update) I refuse to use it. Weather and my smartwatch persistent notifications do not stay open. The Pebble app closes eventually and inconsistently relaunches itself and the weather app closes immediately when the process is dumped by clearing recents. This is not normal behavior on any other android device I own.

I bought it today i couldn't wait... I am typing now from it. When i set up everything it was working perfect then i updated and only fcb messenger is working good, viber or instagram should be opened in the backgroud... Can i go back and how i also disable hub and before that i think i disconnected the accounts for viber inst and fb from it but it doesn't work againm

i honestly dont know. i have a ticket opened with them and i dont think they understand the issue.

It's shattering news to hear that the August Update did not fix the issue.
I'll wait till I can update it to the August version and if this huge push notifications Problem (yeah for some users its a very serious issue) is not fixed then I'll sell it and I think I'm done with Blackberry.

It's really a pitty. I loved to use BB.

By the way I mailed the BB Support and did not even get an answer.

I am in April update. But twitter notifications are problematic in April update. Maybe twitter application may be problematic, i do not know.

I don't use Twitter, but maybe try a third-party app like Fenix?

I contacted both Rogers and BlackBerry Mobile regarding the notification issue and non-responsive square soft key. I was told by Rogers rep to do factory restore and if problem persisted they would look after exchange in store.

So far after restore things are better....soft keys have all continued to work as they should, and notifications appear to be working properly. Mind you I have not received any notifications from Twitter or Instagram, but I don't get many from them. What I did notice was Gmail seemed to be syncing properly now and I am getting all of my email, text, Facebook messenger and those sorts of notifications. Will keep ya posted on what happens expecially after the August update is installed next week.

Autoloader / factory reset is useless. Problem is in the OS.
