    While charged and on WiFi it should be there. I have a LOT of Android experience and have never seen this manual check option disappear. Is it a 7.1.1 "option"???

    They changed it on KEYone. It's just an icon called 'Updates'. And yes, I'll update that guide lol.

    Thanks Bla1ze, old buddy, old pal! Might want to update that page.
    While on usage subjects : Is there anyway to disable the convience key ( I keep hitting it while holding the phone). I'm trying to get used to that, and not hitting the capacitive keys while swiping up on the (scrolling) keyboard. If not- we need a software update for both to be "user friendly"...

    Where is this "updates" icon? I cant find that either on mine... I checked the guide and I dont see it in there yet - sorry if I missed it.

    It's under the app drawer (black doted circle in the middle of home screen bottom).

    Got it. thanks Dawg. I was only searching under settings, but there it is with the rest of the apps, even though its probably not accurately characterized as an "app."

    Rocking with my new Keyone....but also using my Z30...so on the Keyone, the phone just did a system update....says I'm now on AAL483
