WE??? Dude, you are the only one questioning the frikcking led even when more than one of the guys who saw it were saying it was RGB.
I haven't heard anyone say they actually saw a Red flashing LED, other colors, yes, but not Red. However, since it is now in the updated specs, I'm sure the final version will have a real RGB LED.

Wanna have a good laugh ?

Check the official blackberry site for the Passport.

BlackBerry Passport – Touch screen, touch smartphone keyboard - United States

    "On-screen or white LED indicator

(Some notification options are user configurable)"

So answer is : yes, blackberry can put wrong specs on their official site and it can last without any further correction.
Awesome find! That pretty much settles the argument. LOL

If you guys are so concerned about RGB, you're buying the wrong brand. Get an Alcatel instead.

Without the Hub Notifications, the RGB LED doesn't matter, and without the Blackberry Keyboard, the phone doesn't matter. :-)

I'm trying to follow you, but I don't see how any of those three phones are in any way the equal of the KEYone. They are typical Android slabs, and pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned.

Also, the LED backs are gimmicks. Most of us just want a single LED notification with customizable colors for message type and possibly contact.

And O is for Orange, and so far all that's been reported as seen Barcelona is OGB. I'm counting on Kevin to flash a Red LED for us very soon, though.

For the physics/optics-challenged, Red+Blue+Green light = White light, and all colors in the visible spectrum can be created by mixing RGB. So, if orange, blue and green have been observed, red is necessarily available unless someone configured the software to prohibit it. :-)

Of course, but if either either the LED or software were not performing as they will in the final version, maybe all that the pre-production devices shown at MWC could produce was orange. Mr. Mobile's MWC video only showed a faint colored halo.

We saw red, blue, and green. There are other combinations but those three we all personally witnessed.

But I've said it many times in other threads, lol. :-P

But anyway, even if I didn't, the fact that it does the other colors mean that it can do red as well.
