BB Mobile have only divulged the BBB100-1 (North America GSM), BBB100-2 (Rest of World GSM) and BBB100-3 (North America CDMA). I found a BBB100-4 (China CDMA) digging through the OS autoloader. And now a BBB100-6 (???).

    So where's the BBB100-5?

Would they certify a device in the US if it was going to be sold exclusively in another country? (That is, not in the US)

    WiFi Alliance is international.

The certification only lists WiFi features, the only difference between each model is the day it was submitted and the OS version the test device was running. A country's actual certification body (FCC, TENAA) or at least an industry body (GCF, PTCRB) produce more substantial results.

So it's coming for China and Korea, too. Or any other language the WiFi Alliance offers.

So to use KeyOne in North America I need BBB100-1 or -3? I see BBB100-2 available on Amazon but it is a UK keypad. Sorry, not very knowledgeable about this stuff. Just know I want a KeyOne to use in North America with AT&T.

It seems clear that, with Sprint announcing that they'll eventually carry the phone, that there would have to be a separate Sprint model. And since this was known a while back, it explains one of the two "in between" numbers between 3 and 6. Of course, not every prototype model actually gets put into production, as we've seen many times.

I was under the assumption that the BBB100-3 was the shared Sprint/Verizon model, but if it's one of the gaps between the -3 and -6 it makes sense too. Assuming that's the case:

    BBB100-1: North America GSM
    BBB100-2: EMEA GSM
    BBB100-3: North America CDMA (Verizon?)
    BBB100-4: China (from OS dump)
    BBB100-5: North America CDMA? (Sprint?)
    BBB100-6: Japan (maybe Korea too?)
