    Mine seems faster with less lag post-update. This was more than just a security patch (at least for mine as it wasn't updated since early May)

    It was not a lack of glue, it was a lack of magnetic force causing the metal clips to loosen their grip on the glass screen. The software update enabled the electron force field to increase enough to tighten the metal clips.
