It seems like every time I try to do more than one thing on my phone, it freezes up. I have Sprint as my carrier.

Is this Sprint thing or a phone thing? What can I do to fix it, if anything?

open the app Power Center
go through "memory usage" where you can kill/force stop extraneous apps that are hogging memory. If you constantly find the same offenders and you can live without them, uninstall them.

Secondly, go to the Manage Automatic apps and prevent third-party apps from constantly running in the background. Be careful and judicious here.

If you experience odd behavior from an app, reverse.

Battery Optimization should be on for most apps as well.

All of these setting can be controlled in the Power Center app.

I don't think it is the carrier. You can test by just using WiFi and see what happens. But I hope my suggestions above help you.

As much as I don’t like Sprint, I agree with coffee-turtle. If all else fails, time for a factory reset.....
