Need a K1 music app

I've been using Amazon music app but now it no longer recognizes my SD card where music is stored. Could be a problem with the card but I can access content there from other apps and devices.

Want to try another music app. Asking for recommendations.

Seriously though, I’m thinking just using Google since it’s proprietary Android so I expect it to be around....

Thanks people. I'll check them out. I did try the google app for a moment to test the SD card. Then disabled it again because it's name starts with goo

i don't like poweramp, it doesn't work well on K1, and for some albums it shows no or the wrong album covers despite edited tags.

i use Musicolet

Works well for me on a Keyone... but hey, whatever works you, right. That's why we have choices.

I've had a very bad experience with poweramp so I won't recommend it to anyone. it messed up my music tags, artists and albums and even corrupted some songs.
I have been a long time user of Walkman (Sony music) which you can easily find on XDA. I would suggest it over any other music app. close second is Phonograph

Pulsar+ is my choice.

Thanks all. I got Musicolet but haven't played with much yet. I usually concentrate on these things when riding an airplane.

I did notice the app shows the play buttons in swipe down notifications. Not sure I like that.

I record all calls so I need a music player that allows blacklisting certain folders... ideas?

Musicolet. You can choose folders to scan and folders to exclude. You can even ignore small duration files with it

Rocket Player is hands down the best I have ever used and is currently my daily driver.
..and trust me, I have tested out a lot of music apps, and nothing beats Rocket Player for me.
Take it for a test drive! ;)
